Sheafknot started life in November 1998 when Steve Flude, John Horsey Janet Brown and John Fowler got together with the aim of performing sea shanties and martime songs. The present lineup was completed in January 1999 when John Bowden and Vic Shepherd joined the group. We have performed at numerous festivals and clubs up and down the country and are looking forward to helping to keep the sea shanty tradition alive for many years to come.
